How do you do, Uluscri. I stumbled into this eccentric realm of yours by way of YouTube link, and I don't regret it a bit. I found your video essay on "idea foraging" nothing short of inspirational. You're whimsies, odd-ball hobbies, overall comfortable attitude towards creativity is something I honestly feel slightly envious of. If I may be permitted to get a little personal, here, I simply have a chronic case of overthinking. I blame Mr. Fuddle. It's always that man's fault. Every time I feel myself ready to tackle a blank page, there sits Mr. Fuddle, just over my shoulder, his pudgy fingers always halfway through a packet of crisps while he chews them audibly. He leaves crumbs everywhere. Personal hygiene is more a suggestion for him. He doesn't even change his socks. I hate his guts. I would change the locks, but I suspect he'll find a way in. He's part of the furniture, I suppose. The point is I find your creative freedom so liberating. While I may never rid myself of that Mr. Fuddle, I at least know where my true north should be by following your example. Put simply, do keep up the good work. It is very much making a difference. All the best. Cheers. (P.S. If ever you're interested in an email correspondence, I'm always open for long, prattling letters on just about everything. There's something truly fun about letter writing.)

Hi! Just found you on Youtube. You're cool! So Iceland lies along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, particularly the bit where the North American and Eurasian plates are pulling apart from each other. Near one particular great chasm caused by this plate separation is a site called Þingvellir, where the over-a-thousand-years-old-and-still-extant-today Icelandic parliament (oldest still-extant democratic government in the world!) would meet for many centuries. In a lake to the south of Þingvellir, called Þingvallavatn, is a species of crustacean found there and only there, a species so unique that it's placed in its own completely unique family. So in one place, geography, history, and biology converge in ways that they don't literally anywhere else on the planet, and I just think that that is really really cool! ^^

I "stumbled upon" this site from cloudhiker and am so glad. The banner of buttons carouseling across the page tickle my early 2000s html nostalgia (I miss the OG neopets). The web developer inside me is giggling with glee and inspiration. Thanks for brightening my day as I look into your creations and the little guys :D
